Design My Wedding: Wedding Innovators Challenge

The west coast right now may have higher temperatures than the east coast, but that isn't stopping my wedding planning friend Vicky Johnson of the fabulous DC Nearly Weds Blog.

They are hosting the Wedding Innovator's Design Challenge and Bridal Show. It will start in Washington, DC and travel to 5 additional cities ( New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, and Toronto).
This will be a 3 prong event : A Design Challenge for Event Planners, Bridal Show for Brides and a Silent Auction to benefit Brides Against Breast Cancer.

The DC Show is being sponsored by My Wedding Day Magazine and my good friends from The Wedding Podcast Network and is being held at the Liaison Capitol Hill in Washington from 10:00 - 5:00 pm on Saturday February 21, 2009.

Leading our panel of judges is Los Angeles celebrity wedding and event planner
Diann Valentine. She is also the host of the new Mark Burnett/Dreamworks TV Show Wedding Day debuting this spring.

There will be a ticketed VIP networking event following the show as well, so there's a great deal to see and do in DC!

They will also be welcoming donations for the Silent Auction. Proceeds will benefit
Brides Against Breast Cancer. Show information and registration can be found on the show website at www.WeddingInovators.com

If you can plan your schedule to attend in one of these cities, click
here for a special coupon Vicky has provided all Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge's diary readers to get a $5.00 discount off your show ticket. Additionally there are special discounts available for planners and exhibitors.

I'm looking forward to hearing news of these events and if you are attending, please come back here and share your with us by joining my Google Friends Networks! I am sure this event will be inspire creativity, style and hope and perhaps this "hot" event can make it's way to the west coast next year...where it's warm in the winter:)
