Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge is so excited to be a part of my first "Engage" wedding business summit for the Luxury wedding market.

This, the 4th version of the conference is called "Engage '09 Encore" and what fabulous Las Vegas resort could be more fitting to host this event than the Wynn, Encore Resort Las Vegas?

I am so happy that the creators of "Engage" Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce of Engaging Concepts, based in Florida, have brought this event to Las Vegas. It shows that this fabulous city that I love so much and now call home is definitely on the radar when it comes to celebrating weddings in style as only Las Vegas can! Thank you Rebecca & Kathryn!!

Las Vegas Welcomes CaterSource & Event Solutions 2009

What do you get when you combine thousands of people; chefs, catering professionals, event planners, designers, entertainers, decor suppliers and more and bring them to Las Vegas?

You get an amazing 4 day event filled with education, inspiration and fun called "CaterSource/Event Solutions 2009". It's sponsored by National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), of which I am a member, Event Solutions and Catersource Magazines.

Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge will be attending this conference this week. I'll be out of the office Sunday through Wednesday learning new ideas to better my business and planning, creative skills, getting inspired by professionals from all aspects of the catering and event planning business. On the trade show floor, I'll be seeing amazing new ideas in decor, tasting and experiencing great new food and beverage products and presentation ideas, checking out cool new event rentals, lighting and more and attending some cool events to see how it all amazingly comes together. 

Oh, and meeting tons of other incredibly talented, creative and dedicated wedding, food and catering & event professionals from around the country and beyond; sharing stories, ideas and more. 

Very lucky to have this opportunity on annual basis here in Las Vegas to attend for another year.

Wow!! Talk about "flying high!!"

I am so excited to share with you the great news that Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge is featured in a wonderful article about upscale Las Vegas Weddings in "GO Magazine" which is the "official" in-flight magazine for Air Tran Airways!

Now everyone who flys Air Tran Airways from Atlanta to Acapulco and everywhere in between will be reading about your's truly!

The article focuses on the upscaling of Las Vegas and destination Las Vegas weddings and all the incredible resorts, restauants, resources, shopping, spas, and talented wedding professionals we have here in our incredible city to host the most amazing and stylish weddings and wedding weekends from intimate to extravagent and everything in between.

Other News...

To celebrate this great news, Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge offices will be closed from September 11-18th. Just kidding!

Well, sort of...We are closing for the week due to my celebration of the the Jewish New Year and I will be heading home to visit my family in Toronto, Canada (I actually had this trip booked before the other news, really!).

In addition to being home with my family for the holidays, I was informed that I would be invited to a cousin's wedding while I was in town!!!

Go figure! A Wedding planner attending a wedding on her time off!! I just get a chuckle when I think about it because I guess it would seem I live and breathe weddings all the time, LOL!

Truthfully, I am so excited because living so far away from most of my family in Canada, I miss out on a lot of weddings and celebrations that were so much a part of my fond memories of growing up in my family. It will be such a pleasure to be a guest at this wedding and be there for my cousin. I am sure people will be looking at me and wondering if I'm judging the flowers or picking apart the ceremony in some way, but I won't be, I PROMISE:)!
