Wedding Concierge in New Orleans for The Special Event

Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge is headed to "The Big Easy", New Orleans, LA, for an exciting week to attend The Special Event Show 2010. I will be out of the office from January 11-17th.

The Special Event Show is THE world's premier conference and tradeshow for event professionals (including weddings of course) and includes the very best in educational, inspiration and networking to get the latest and greatest in the newest and exciting trends across the industry.

It's a great chance to learn and be inspired from "the best of the best" around the country and around the world!

Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge will once again be attending "The Wedding Luncheon", this year featuring guest speaker Darcy Miller of Martha Stewart Weddings! There will also be incredible inspiration to "oooh & ahhh" over provided by some amazing designers including the lovely Sasha Souza in the "Wedding Gallery".

And what place could be better to throw a conference about throwing a party than a party city like New Orleans?!!! It is nice to see that this great city is getting back on it's feet after such a tough 5 years.

I am so excited as this will be my first time ever in "The Crescent City". I love the music, I love the cuisine and I am sure I am going to love it's spirit too! I was just reading the Experience New Orleans Website and it looks like I am going to have to brush up on all the local Cajun/Creole lingo though! Should be FUN, FUN!

So as they say in "The Big Easy"...."Laissez le Bon temp rouler (Lazay Lay Bon Tom Roulay)"

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!!

The Wedding Concierge will be "Engaged"!...in Luxury Wedding Business Summit

Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge is so excited to be a part of my first "Engage" wedding business summit for the Luxury wedding market.

This, the 4th version of the conference is called "Engage '09 Encore" and what fabulous Las Vegas resort could be more fitting to host this event than the Wynn, Encore Resort Las Vegas?

I am so happy that the creators of "Engage" Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce of Engaging Concepts, based in Florida, have brought this event to Las Vegas. It shows that this fabulous city that I love so much and now call home is definitely on the radar when it comes to celebrating weddings in style as only Las Vegas can! Thank you Rebecca & Kathryn!!

Some of the luxury wedding industry leaders such as THE Cake Diva herself, Sylvia Weinstock, the editors and owners of The Bridal Bar, Southern Weddings Magazines, Get Married Magazine, INSIDE Weddings, Randy Fenoli from "Say Yes to the Dress" on TLC, some of our my favorite Luxury Las Vegas venues and more to network and share ideas about the wedding industry and how to keep moving forward to keep our businesses and industry on the leading edge and relevant to you...our brides & grooms.

It's going to be an incredible and memorable event from October 12-14th and I know I will come back full of great ideas and the creative sparks will be flying.

You can follow me on twitter @lvwedconcierge or do a search of hashtag #Engage09Encore for all the buzz & pics from all attendees.

So Welcome to all my wedding industry friends to Las Vegas!! I can't wait to meet old friends and new and share our fabulous city with you.

And I look forward to sharing pictures and thoughts when I return with all of YOU!

Your Wedding Day Magazine Party, LA-Video Party Recap

Last month, Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge had the pleasure of attending an amazing party in Los Angeles for the Spring 2009 Launch of Your Wedding Day Magazine at the Ebell Club, Los Angeles; a venue that is synonymous with the Hollywood Glamor era.

It was an incredible evening with the very best of the best in the south west and California wedding industry and I was so excited to be a part of it, as well being a marketing partner with Your Wedding Day Magazine (which you must get your hands on-IT'S A GORGEOUS publication!!!)

This party was over the top with an elegant garden decor to welcome us and delicious cocktail designed by the Ebell, Los Angeles featuring my new obsession, Ventura Limoncello

The piece de resistance of this event, the drop dead gorgeous "Marie Antoinette Gone Modern Ball Room"  was the result of the magic spun & designed by my very good friend,  Jeannie Ward, The Wedding Jeannie

The other rooms, featured an opulent & sensuous "Bollywood" Room & henna plus a totally chic "Le Discotheque" room. Of course, I danced all night to the DJ-live entertainment fusion sounds of 11H Entertainment. You have to let me book these amazing people for your event & YES, they travel!

It was one of the most amazing industry events I have been to & one I will remember for a long time. I am sure Your Wedding Day will have a great time trying to outdo themselves for the parties for their upcoming issue (which will have some exciting surprises) but I'm not telling:)

Enjoy the fabulous video recap of all the party fun above and you might just see Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge and friends at the very end having some fun at the LA Photo Party Booth which is a total blast & I totally want to book them for a wedding (hope it will be YOURS)!

Check out the Your Wedding Day Blog (& you will want to stay tuned to this blog in the near future for some other exciting information regarding yours truly!) for more info, phenomenal images by CherieFoto (and decor ideas galore) of the event and links to all the great event designers and sponsors of this fabulous event.

Fabulous Rental Furniture Can Make Your Wedding a "Fete Accomplie"

Rental furniture for weddings to create intimate lounge environments that help make your guests feel comfortable, relaxed and add an extra layer of wow to your event is no longer a "trend", it's definitely here to stay. That is "a good thing" as Ms. Martha would say.

Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge could not agree more. And one of my absolute favorite companies in the event furnishing rental business these days is Fete Accomplie Events based in the Los Angeles, CA area.

Fete Accomplie's line of luxury furnishings created just for events encompasses so many adjectives with all the different styles of furniture and accessories they offer it would be a very long list, but sophisticated, opulent, glamorous, sexy, stylish (you knew I was going to say that) are just some of the ones that come to mind.

Add some of these pieces to your wedding and you will definitely make a statement. The images above are from the fabulous Spring 2009 Your Wedding Day Magazine wedding showcase at the Ebell Club, Los Angeles that I attended recently.

These two rooms, that I spent the most time in, were furnished with furniture from Fete Accomplie Events.

The phenomenal Marie Antoinette Gone Modern dining room, designed and coordinated by my good friend Jeannie Ward, the Wedding Jeannie, really utilized their "High Style" furniture collection. It was absolutely the most stunningly beautiful space to walk into and I am so proud of my friend! I also got to meet

For a different look, the "Deco Square Banquettes" provided modern touch of Hollywood Glamour in the Disco Room where everyone partied the night away.

Furniture is an excellent investment in your wedding reception budget and not as costly as you think. A few well placed pieces will make any room feel like you are welcoming your guests into "your place for a special moment in time".

You must check out the entire 3 part review of this amazing wedding industry event on the Ebell, LA's blog written by the fabulous Catering Director, Melissa Allen (who is a Vegas native by the way) AND I invite you to visit the Fete Accomplie website to see their amazing Product Showcase (I want it ALL...for my house) and Event Gallery that I know will inspire you.

It certainly has inspired me and I think I want to live in their warehouse! It is truly a Tracey "Happy Place"!

Will YOU be a part of it?
Click Here to Sign the Pledge

There are many people who have inspired me over the last 6+ years since I began my journey into this amazing world of weddings. Some of them know how much of an inspiration they have been to me and some don't.

What they all have done, in one way or another, is left an indelible impression and example on how to continually do what I love to do better, with more polish, passion and poise. They have been a source of positivity for this amazing industry (whether they know it or not) that we collectively can be proud of.

As a matter of fact, as I write this, I know exactly who I will be writing about. I look forward to honoring that person here on the 21st.

Thank you to BrideTide.com, "The Wedding News Website", for starting this wonderful project!

Who has inspired you? Join the pledge!
